Twenty-eight "ARC Gourmet Gents" from Schoharie County and the surrounding region will dish up good food, conversation and camaraderie at the third annual "Cooking with Love" to benefit the Schoharie County ARC this Sunday, October 19 at the Best Western Inn of Cobleskill.
This year's event will again feature appetizers, soups, main course entrees, side dishes and desserts for guests to sample. All food will be prepared and served by the volunteer chefs-many of whom are connected to the Schoharie County ARC through board leadership, membership, and community partnership.
The chefs will make their grand entrance into the Ballroom at 3pm in full chef attire and will start serving the samples immediately following introductions by Master of Ceremonies Sheryl McNerney.
Dinner music will be provided by DJ Patrick Del Rosario. A cash bar will be available.
Chefs include: Tony Alvarez, Jim Batsford, Tom Bowes, Darren Bratcher, Dale Case, Joe Crua, Alfred D'Alauro, Gordon Delpit, Patrick delRosario, John DeSanto, Stephen Fancher, Floyd Guernsey III, Peter Guidarelli, Gregory Hurd, Bill McCartan, Daniel Murray, Eugene Nachamkin, John Ostrander, David Pollitzer, Geoffrey Rightmyer, Larry Stanley, Christopher Stauble, Harry Strole, Michael Vamvas, John Von Ahn, Brandon Winter and Glenn Winter.
This year's event is being presented with support from Fenimore Asset Management and the Best Western Inn of Cobleskill. All proceeds raised will benefit the Schoharie County ARC.
